Queen Hephzibah is one of the gospel music ministers, who has continued to be a blessing to the body of Christ. Her music is on high demand by local and international audiences. An anointed praise and worship leader full of the Holy Ghost, Queen Hephzibah is also a song writer. Her love for God and passion for the gospel is evident in the lyrics of her songs and the power in her ministrations on stage. Queen Hephzibah is a committed Gen of Christ Image Integrity and ministers with her father, Rev. AsepeJesu Babalola, across the globe. According to Funke Asepejesu, “It is a great privilege to lead God’s children in worship before God,” this she has continued to do, fulfilling her ministry.
Born Oluwafunke Asepejesu, but popularly known as Queen Hephzibah Praize, her close friends refer to her as ‘Queen of Gospel.’ She once stated that: “I am a gospel music minister by the will of God; I love Jesus with my whole heart and everything within me, and I will try to let how I feel about him reflect in all the songs that I sing’*
Queen Hephzibah was Born in EPE Ekiti in ijero local goverment in ekiti State of Nigeria, into a family of six, Oluwafunke omo Asepejesu got born again in 1991. She is a school set holder she school in Ekiti state, Work as fashion designer in Akure Ondo state Nigeria. She has since become a praise and worship leader at her Fathers church in Akure Ondo State. And other branches.
According to her: “I love to lead God’s people in praise and worship, because to her, it is one of the biggest opportunities I have received from God. I do other genre of music though, but I love to praise and worship Jesus all time. It’s a blessing to be in a position where God can trust you to lead His people in songs of praise and worship to him. So, in all, I can say I do songs that bless and reach the spirit, soul and bodies of every listeners,” she also said, adding that, “I am a recording artiste, my first album was released in April 2021, I released a album, “Ore Ofe’ (Grace) and the song is fulfilling its purpose everywhere they play it.”
Some of her works include, “Her Praise,” which has gone around places, blessing believers and unbelievers.
Queen Hephzibah has ministered in several Churches Nigeria and other places.
She also said by God grace in the next singles the she will be producing from now on, will win several awards to the glory of God her Master and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Queen Hephzibah had been dreaming to reflect every lives right from her little age. She also said that as many as possible that have listing to her songs mainly “Ore ofe” are testifying God grace and torn around abundant blessings in there lives.
